"The Beauty In The Broken Glass is such an inspiring act of bravery. Brooke shares her truth with heartfelt vulnerability, honesty, and grace, turning her personal story into a reflection where readers can see their own wounds, resilience, and potential for healing. Her voice is poetic yet genuine, compassionate without self-pity, and brave without seeking praise. As the person privileged to write the foreword to this incredible book, I witnessed it grow from trust and heartfelt conversations over the years. Brooke's story is more than just a memoir about the transformative power of a near-death experience combined with a determined will—it's a hope-filled gift to anyone who has faced darkness and yearns to find that love, dignity, and wholeness can blossom even from the most broken places. This debut by a talented writer and poet is truly beautiful and unforgettable, and her voice deserves to be heard."

"WOW! Reading The Beauty in the Broken Glass was a deeply moving experience. Brooke shares the most intimate chapters of her life with such vulnerability, authenticity, and courage, and exemplifies how our deepest wounds provide a doorway to profound healing and empowerment. Her story touched my heart deeply and is a huge reminder to meet ourselves and others with greater compassion; for we never truly know the depths of what another person has endured. This book will stay with me for a long time and is one I wholeheartedly recommend."

I spent 15-years dying from not dying. This book broke open all the damns I constructed to avoid my pain, and became a living prayer to the ferosity of unconditional self-Love. Through the years I dedicated to immersive self-healing and creative expression, I stepped back from the abyss and rediscovered artistry as the authentic expression of my Soul.

I am beyond excited to birth this book, which is a reclamation of creative work I began during my graduate thesis in 2006. In creating it, I resurrected my unencumbered Divine Essence, my inner children and the sacred art of play. I had buried myself in decades of silence, grief, rage and shame, and I have been liberated in these words.

This book is medicine for our awakening world. Embodied femininity pulses through it. Womanhood is creativity. Poetry. Vitality. Sensuality. Motherhood is unconditional. Evolution. Grace. Forgiveness. Sovereignty is power. Freedom. Hope. Possibility. Let these words infect you with the raw energetics that helped radically heal me in the soft embrace of Life itself. I am wildly alive with Life. Life as Life. Life for Life. Life to Life. Life as Love. No longer do I dance with Death. No longer do I identify with the mind. No longer do I harm the body. And this miraculous vitality illuminates all I do and serve.

This book is dedicated to the Divine Feminine. May her rising heal our deeply unwell collective culture. Our grief is an ocean of tears only a Mother's Love can soothe. We can not grieve timidly. We must grieve loudly. Boldly. Passionately. We need to roar. To howl. To sing. To dance. To move. To sound. To create.

I invite you to be free. Peacefully. Playfully. Prayerfully. Let us name what disconnects us. Let us gather what reminds us who we are. What we are. What our medicine is. Remembering we are ancestral. Remembering we are multidimensional. Remembering we are here to care for the Earth, the elements and one another.

The oxygen of war is division. The coma of creativity keeps us addicted to fear. The opiate of war mongering is numbness. Release your tears! They are the Divine gift of softness. Of compassion. Of tenderness. Of empathy. Let us flow with our tears. They activate our river nature. They make space for the new. You are not alone in your darkness. Yin is holy. It is where Creation begins.

May we all Be free. May we all do what it takes to Be free. May it Be so.
